Central Park Residence in New York

Great location, a bit run-down though Positive: Great location, easy key pickup. Clear communication with owners via WhatsApp. Small apartment, but that's fine and what we were signing up for staying on the UWS! Futon bed was actually pretty comfy. Negative: Not very clean and extremely cheap furniture. Listen, I would not normally write a review if we had paid less, but given how much we paid, there were some problems for the price. 1) cleanliness - the place was generally clean in the way that if you asked some 22 y/o dudes to clean their apartment before a party, but the main couch had some crumbs mushed into the fabric, the fabric of the chairs was lightly stained, windowsills were dusty and clearly had not been cleaned for a while. 2) poor quality of furniture. The rug in the living room was too big and bunched up (the way that a college student might furnish their own apartment). The furniture was all cheap Ikea furniture - so neither particularly uncomfortable but def not comfortable. The chairs were wobbly. 3) Property damage needing repairs - one of the kitchen tiles was very loose; the door underneath the sink was hanging on only one hinge, the wood finish on the bathroom sink was peeling off. Again, these would be all fine if the place were cheaper; however, we could have replaced and repaired everything for less money than what we ended up paying for 4 nights.

Para uma família de 5, foi perfeito! Positive: Localização incrível, com várias boas opções de restaurantes ao redor, bem equipada (lava louça e lava/seca roupa muito boa) e decorada, suporte on-line a qualquer momento, aprovada, voltaremos!

Deludente Positive: Tra gli aspetti positivi segnaliamo che la dotazione generale dell’appartamento è completa. Lavatrice e asciugatrice funzionano correttamente. Il personale è stato disponibile e preciso. Anche il prezzo è in linea. Negative: Purtroppo la nostra esperienza in questo appartamento non è stata delle migliori, consapevoli del fatto che gli standard di NY sono ben più bassi di quelli europei. La via in cui si trova non é piacevole, soprattutto nelle ore serali. L’edificio e le parti comuni lasciano molto a desiderare: le scale erano molto sporche e poco curate (sporcizia, scarafaggi morti, ecc.). Anche all’interno dell’appartamento la pulizia era solo parziale, con diversi dettagli trascurati (forno molto sporco, divano macchiato, sedie macchiate, angoli sporchi, davanzali sporchi, tappeti sporchi, ecc.), assolutamente poco accogliente. La struttura è molto ma molto rumorosa, il che ha reso difficile riposare bene durante la notte perché é proprio all'angolo tra 2 strade piuttosto trafficate, sconsiglio a chi ha sonno leggero. Inoltre abbiamo riscontrato alcuni problemi di manutenzione, come una finestra rotta e mattonelle che si staccano dal pavimento. Anche i mobili risultavano in cattivo stato, in alcuni casi addirittura marci. Nel complesso la struttura avrebbe bisogno di una manutenzione più attenta e di una pulizia più accurata.

Positive: Propre, bien équipé, à 10 mn de lignes de métro et juste à côté de Central park, un très bon compromis pour notre famille de 6 membres
