Central Park Residence in New York

The price was reasonable but the noise from the surrounding location made it very difficult to sleep and the instruction Positive: The price was very reasonable considering NY. The space met our needs. The space was clean. Water pressure was excellent. Having multiple bedrooms is not easily found so this was a very attractive listing for that reason. Negative: The provided directions to get into the apartment were not correct. We were out in the cold for a 1/2 hour, could only correspond with management through text. It was later discovered that that keys to get in the building were actually outside (not inside as stated) It created a great deal of confusion and anxiety. When we finally got in the apartment all the water features were running which cause more confusion. A neighbor had stated there was some plumbing work, seems like there could have been flooding if left unchecked. We also had to dry towels once we entered. Finally, The apartment picks up every outside noise from people talking to every car and truck which carried out all through the sleeping hours. We did not sleep well due to the noise. Also the window near the fire escape does not lock which creates a draft also a way into the apartment if someone used the fire escape.
